About Chris

Chris has recently joined AECOM as their lead Project Information Manager, responsible for how information is managed across multiple business lines within the business.  Prior to that, he was the owner of C3 Consulting Solutions, implementing BIM processes and practices within AEC companies since 2005.  He has assisted firms in organizational change efforts, systems analysis and design, training programmes and project delivery.  Chris’s strengths are in converting technical experience to tactical approaches, and communication.

He has worked on projects in both Australia and the United Kingdom, using his expertise to develop systems and processes for numerous organisations. Over the last seven years, he has helped firms understand and implement BIM methodologies, and is passionate about exploiting information management technology to its limits. He acknowledges that despite developments in technology, altering people’s behaviour is the most crucial and often difficult part of change.

He has taught hundreds of industry professionals across Australia, and students at both RMIT and Melbourne University. He is a co-author of ANZRS (Australian & New Zealand Revit Standards), steering committee member of BIM-MEPaus, BIM Management Plans working group chair for the AIA/Consult Australia BIM/IPD initiative and a past chairperson of REVIC (Revit Users Group of Victoria).
